Stability

Amidst the earthquakes of unexpected situations, the hurricanes of unreasonable behaviour, when fortune strikes against me, I will remain unmoved, knowing that finally all will be well.

The secret to being content

To be peaceful is to be free from expectations and to want nothing from anyone.

Take the initiative and be generous.

Lead the way and do something.

Becoming a Peacemaker

The first lesson on the path of becoming a peacemaker is to stop being at war with myself.

It is only when the turbulence of my mind ceases that I can begin to make peace with the world.

Appreciation

Even if I don't mean to be critical, I often unconsciously focus on others' weaknesses and mistakes.

The more I develop the habit of noticing goodness and only holding on to the good in others and in situations, the more my own sense of well-being will rise.

Resilience

Resilience is your personal power, your inner strength that allows you to rise above difficult circumstances, and bounce back stronger than before the challenge!

Peace, Love and Happiness

Keep peace in the mind, love in the heart and happiness in relationships.

Want Not

Next time you are waiting for anything, notice what you are wanting!

This will be a source of your tension or impatience.

All desire has fear built in - fear of not getting or losing, even before your desire is fulfilled.

Introspection

Introspection is the attitude of going inside when it's necessary.

It is especially applicable before a task or a busy day.

The result of going inside is peace and calmness, which gives clarity to the intellect for making right decisions.

Introspection does not mean avoiding the world, it means going inside and getting empowered to act along with others.

Introversion

The ability to enjoy one's own company is one of the greatest gifts life has to offer.

Learning to turn my thoughts away from all my responsibilities at the day's end and take my mind into a state of peace and benevolence enables me to carry greater and greater loads without feeling the burden.

When my inner landscape is full of beautiful thoughts, everything I do is a pleasure.

Gently, I calm down chaotic situations and offer solace to troubled minds.

Get Grateful Now

Even when you feel as though things aren't going well in your life, you have reasons to be grateful.

Today, take time to appreciate the gift of life and all its wonders.

Count your blessings and cherish what you have.

Go Deep

Most of us think too much, especially about events and people, local and global, famous and not so famous.

When we are always thinking about what is happening on the surface of life, the visible, then it is as if we are living a superficial life.

And when two people who both live on the surface meet, the exchange, the conversation, is superficial, sometimes totally bereft of meaning.

Often it leaves us totally unsatisfied. And as we share news of our surface observations, we come to know our own superficiality, but we are not strong enough to resist it.

Deep down inside there is a voice, a longing, a calling to depth.

It's our heart, reminding us to visit, explore and express the depths of our ourselves.

Peace and Good Feelings

Fill your mind with peace and good feelings and your mind will give that experience in return.

Whatever you are experiencing in your mind now is what you put there earlier on.
